The North Riverside Miniature Wargaming Meetup

Meet other Wargamers who are interested in historical gaming. We have a small wargaming group located in North Riverside (1 mile North of Brookfield Zoo) with a focus on historical miniatures. Our miniatures include WWII (skirmish, armor, air, and naval), Civil War (land and naval), American Revolution, Napoleonic, Crimean War, Franco Prussian War, French Foreign Legion, WWI (air and naval), Ancients, Medieval, and Renaissance. We are also both interested and open to other periods. We believe that the gaming environment should be relaxed and friendly. The focus of gaming is enjoyment of the game and winning is of secondary importance. Our games are currently held at 10 AM every fourth Saturday. If there's enough interest, additional games on Friday night are also being considered. We play in a finished basement with 2 large comfortable gaming rooms. Our members range in age from 17 to over 70. All ages and experience levels are welcome.

WWII Naval Action in the Mediterranean
The next game will be a battle between the British and Italian Navies in the Mediterranean. The game will begin at 10 and go for 4-6 hours.
